The Pause Project was created to remind federal service workers and their families that even in the pause there’s purpose.
This pop-up beauty and wellness experience offers a safe space to rest, reset, and realign during difficult seasons. Through self-care, encouragement, and community connection, we help restore dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging.
Who It’s For
Federal employees and service workers affected by the government shutdown, including:
Military Personnel & Families (Active Duty, Reserve, Veterans)
Federal Contractors & Civilian Workers
Coast Guard, Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines
TSA, USPS, and other government agency employees
Any individual directly impacted by delayed pay or furlough

If you’ve been affected by the government shutdown and would like to receive services through The Pause Project, here’s how to book your appointment:

Please include proof of federal employment or a furlough notice when you arrive to your appointment. This helps us ensure that all appointments go to those directly impacted.Day of Service:
